I remember when this show first appeared on Netflix. I remember that the percentage of me liking the film was high, granted this was after I binged watched Black Mirror. I also remember that I was really not that interested in actually watching it. I think I had had enough of reality being shoved into my face through the eyes of the future. I am glad I actually didn't watch it then because I feel better digested it. I believe that the film actually helped solidify my past statements. For example, I talked about how we don't truly control the internet because it is totally and completely tailored to us already. I know that my generation grew up with the internet, but it scares me that parts of my generation are like an older sibling. Their internet influx has begun to be tailored to them since they came out of the womb. This is mostly what scares me. The fact that I truly have no actual free will when finding something on the internet. There are always parts laid out for me that have to lead me to search for something. The internet had become a drug addiction like caffeine. It is socially acceptable. Overall this film has opened my eye to truly thinking about how I interact and react to the internet.
